30 hrs Childcare , one parent UK citizen and other on Tier 2 dependent visa

HI All,

I did research the forum but it is a bit confusing to come to a conclusion in my case, please advice.

I am a UK citizen (naturalised), while my wife is on Tier 2 dependant visa and eligible for ILR from August 2021.
My daughter is 3 yrs and is also UK Citizen. WE want to apply for the 30 hrs childcare benefit for the term that starts in September 2021 for which we need to apply by 31 July, but wife will not get ILR until next month.

Since I am a UK citizen can I still apply for 30 hrs childcare , whilst my wife is working but on dependant visa ?
And not affect my wife's ILR application.
