Child benefits

Post by prince99 » Sat Mar 07, 2020 7:56 am

Hi,
I'm on ILR (through tier 2 general route) and claiming child benefits for my two kids.
I'm now planning to apply ilr for my wife and kid.

Should my wife declare that I'm claiming benefits ?
Would that have any effect on her and kids ILR application?

I heard some people being told to seek solicitor advice as they are claiming benefits for kids who are subject to immigration control. Please help.

Thanks

Yes it can be declared and no it won’t have any affect.
