Claiming Benefits

Dear All Moderators

I am on ilr through Tier 1 Entrepreneur, granted November 2019. I am still running my company and getting a salary of £1100 as director. I have 4 dependants 3 Children & wife. They are on Dependant visa and extension is due on April 20 while their 5 years settlement period will complete on December 20. I have a few questions regarding benefits claiming:

1. Can I claim any kind of benefit while still running my company and getting a salary?

2. If I can claim so how that will affect my family visas extension OR immigration status as they are not allowed to use public funds

3. What is procedure to claim if I am eligible as director

You could look at claiming UC and should be claiming Child Benefit for the children. I assume you did not sign a sponsorship undertaking for the children.

I do not know about Sponsorship undertaking, never heard before but yes before coming in UK when they applied, I sent them a sponsorship letter.

May be you meant that!

No a sponsorship undertaking is a specific form, see - https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... p-form.pdf
