I’m a British citizen my partner is spouse visa and 5 years route she just extended the her visa next renewal 2022 will be ILR, if I started to claim universal credit and maintaining for visa £22400 ( this include one child ) when applying visa will it effect 5 years route to 10 years?
Few my friends been given to 10 years they failed to show £18000 while claiming benefits

Insofar as you can meet the Financial Requirement, claiming benefits you’re entitled to should have no effect, benefits cannot be used to meet the Financial Requirement.
