Claiming ESA and PIP

Hi.
I am on ESA (Employment support Allowance) and PIP (Personal Independence Payment) because I am disabled after an illness. I am on ILR and i will apply for British Citizenship (Oct 2020).
Will the fact that I am on benefits affect my application? Will my chances be reduced because i don't work?
Will I need a lawyer to submit my application or can i apply NCS through my local register office?

No and No. Employment is NOT mandatory for citizenship.

No.
or can i apply NCS through my local register office?
There is no NCS service anymore. You apply online, book a biometric and identity check appointment with UKCVAS Sopra Steria and upload your supporting documents.
