Permanent Residence - SS - child tax credit

Post by mufc69 » Thu Nov 29, 2018 7:47 am

Hello,

We will soon apply for my wife’s permanent residence card, she is in UK under Surinder Singh. I’m my daughters full time carer who receives high rate DLA and I receive care allowance for her as I left work over a year ago to care for her. We also receive child tax credit in both of our names, would this affect our application if we apply as self sufficient? My wife has dental and health insurance cover provided via her work, she also has a good salary and we live on her wage we do not receive any other benefit. Should we be ok to go ahead and apply PR even though claiming child tax credit in both names?
