Clarification needed on English language assessment

Post by gupta » Sat Jun 07, 2014 5:37 pm

Hi All,

I am planning to apply for my naturalization this Jul'14. I am a lagging clarity regarding English language requirement

currently I hold PR and Life in UK test certificate via Spouse route. I hold dentist (BDS) degree taught back in India.

My clarification:
1. Do I need to take english language test and/or my degree certificate to be confirmed by UK NARIC.

OR

2. Is it enough to submit my original degree certificate along with Life in UK test.

Any guidance is welcomed.

Thanks

Besides Life in the UK you need B1 / ESOL Entry level 3.
I don't think your degree is valid here because only UK taught degrees are accepted.
I am sometimes wrong.

See if you degree is awarded 20 or more points for qualification and 10 for English Skills on the PBS calculator.
