I am writing to seek urgent advice regarding my wife's visa status and right to rent in the UK.
I have recently been granted Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR), but my wife's visa is due to expire in April. However, when I checked her eVisa status online, it incorrectly stated that my visa had expired, which is now affecting my wife's ability to provide proof of my right to rent to my landlord.
As a result, my wife is currently unable to obtain proof of a valid Right to Rent through the government’s online system. This is causing issues with her tenancy, and I am concerned about her legal status in the UK.
I would appreciate your guidance on:
- Correcting her eVisa status to reflect my ILR and her current visa validity.
- Providing a right to rent evidence to our landlord.
- Her visa extension or switching options before her current visa expires in April.
Best regards,
