Clarification on Schengen multiple entry visa

My parents-in-law applied for and were granted multiple entry Schengen visas by France and they will visit France at the beginning of August for 5 days. After this trip they will return to the UK.

Me and my wife have a trip to Italy planned for the end of August (7 days) and they wish to join us. Will their multiple entry Schengen visas be valid for this trip to Italy?

If they're in date - yes and have multiple entry validity - yes.
