Clarification on Selecting SOC Code for ILR Application: SOC 2010 vs. SOC 2020

Hi all,

I am a business analyst previously classified under SOC 2135 when renewing my Skilled Worker visa. I am now applying for ILR and aware of revisions in SOC codes (SOC 2010 to SOC 2020), where SOC 2133 closely matches my role. Despite no changes in my job responsibilities, should I use SOC 2133, which better describes my current role, or continue with SOC 2135 as used previously? My salary meets the threshold for both codes, so my concern is ensuring accuracy on the visa form.

This question has been answered many times before. Old codes are no longer used so what is the point of using the old code ??? You should use the matching new code and satisfy the salary as per the new code
