Hi All,

I am in PSW and working for the same company from 1-12-2008 and my pay is 21500. but from 01-11-2009 I will get paid 22500 going forward .and my company have also agreed to sponsor my Tier 2 visa(My company is an A-rated Sponsor).

My company wants to use â€œGraduate Developerâ€

on the face of it.... you can't since you have more than 6 months experience.... but what you can do is ARGUE your case that your duties are such and such... and considering all possible roles, grad dev role is nearest to what you do. dont highlight the fact that you have been working more than 6 months to aoid further scruitny!. make sure you get official letter from employer as well backing up your claims

Ask ur employer to explain in ''sponsor's notes'' (while allocating COS) that why did they selected that code + include attested and signed job description with visa application.
thats what home office advised to one of my friend, he successfully switched to tier 2 from psw.
