Colombian UK Visitor holder travelling to Schengen Area

Colombian UK Visitor holder travelling to Schengen Area

Hi all,

I am Colombian and currently have a valid 6 month UK visitor visa (June-December 2018). I am traveling to the UK in July for a total of 3 weeks, I already have my flights booked. However, during that final week, I would like to travel to Paris for a few days, then return to London for my flight back to Bogota. I am aware that as a Colombian citizen, I am allowed to travel to the Schengen Area without a visa, as far as I know, I just have to show evidence of accommodation, certain funds, and proof that I have a return ticket (in this case, back to London).

My question is: is it really that simple? Can I go ahead and book train/plane tickets London-Paris-London and just show up on the day? Am I not foreseeing any issues entering France/returning to the UK?

Yes it is really that simple. Especially because you will be travelling to/from the UK.

Have a copy of all your bookings and that should be it.
