COMBINATION OF VISA. AS GUIDELINES CHANGED PLEASE HELP

Post by HHissawi » Wed Jan 31, 2024 7:50 pm

Hi Zimba,

I am kind of in the same situation with my wife. She joined me in Aug 2020 as a Tier 2 Dependent. Last Nov, I have switched from Tier 2 to ILR. The extension we have done for my wife back then was on the spouse/partner of a settled person route. As I've understood from whay you've mentioned, her ILR clock is now reset and she needs to start counting again towrds her ILR. Did I understand correctly?

Please can you advise me about how can she get back to the Skilled Worker route?

Yes, under the family route you need 60 months for ILR.
Might be possible to switch back to SW dependant visa and secure ILR: indefinite-leave-to-remain/combination- ... l#p2143081
