Duplicate threads

Rather than "locking" duplicate threads, why not just delete them completely?

Maybe that is the right thing to end up doing, but I don't think it is the right thing to do without warning.

We need to give the "offender" the chance to copy their text to the place where it really should go. Having given them that chance ... maximum of say 24 hours ... then yes deleting duplicated topics would be a good idea IMHO.
