Hello, i'm from the island of Barbados (Commonwealth)and have been in the UK on a general visitor's visa and have recently completed the recruiting selections for entry to the royal army and have been told that my provisional start date to begin the phase 1 stage in April 2014 (during pre-selection and the 2 day selection course my passport and visitor visa were both cleared as being appropriate to continue my application process) and have recently received mailed pre-employment check/disclosure scotland forms mailed to my sponsors address by the recruitment team,however my visa will expire on March 28th 2014 and after many hours of research on the ukba's website i have found very little information on if and how my type of visa can be renewed within the uk,can anyone please advise?
