Company Seal on Salary Slip

Do we need to get a signature from the finance dept or the company seal is enough on the salary slip to prove the earnings.

The salary slips need to be signed by a competent authority in your organisation and stamped with the organisation seal.

This authority need not necessarily be the Finance Dept. - most companies have a separate payroll department which may / may not have any link to the Finance department.

It is best to have the persons name and designation as well... but this is not always necessary. Mine were accepted without the designation (but with the name mentioned clearly).
