Compassionate permission to leave?

Post by drteeth » Thu Oct 29, 2020 1:05 pm

Hi Folks

Has anyone been allowed to leave the UK while their visa is being processed due to compassionate reasons?
I can't seem to find where to contact the HO regarding this.
Obviously we don't want to cancel our application, which was made at the start of September, but there doesn't seem to be much option.

No. However, you can write to HO if you can prove medical emergency or compassionate reasons with evidence. It is CW’s discretion if he/she expedites your case. If you leave UK when your immigration application is pending, your application will be withdrawn.

Thanks for information.
Yes, I guess we will have to try and contact the HO then.
