complex letter/ Delay Tier1 ENT Initial application.

Dear respected members,

I just need advice on Tier1 Entrepreneur Visa(50k) initial application. I received complex letter from home office, since than i am just waiting for decision.

My time line are as follow.

Applied 3rd June 2018
Biometric letter 13th June
Biometric done on 14th June.
Complex Letter 28th July.
Request Local MP to expedite or check status 18 Sep.
MP replied that its in Process on 26th Sep.
H/O replied to letter of MP on 20th Oct.
that due to various check involves nationally or international it can take longer but once decision is made it will be informed.
Since then i am Still waiting.
can i request again MP to intervene.
or can i go through Judicial?
Anything other than wait i can do?
what are the average time usually take after Exceptional letter in the applications as its been almost 9month i applied for Visa.
Any help would be much appreciated.

It is a long time for a new application. What is your immigration history ? Where is your funding from ?

But nevertheless, there is not much that you can do. Yes, you can have your MP write again and keep sending HO letters - but other than that not much that you can do.

I applied in feb18 and got refused because i missed one document and then again applied on 3rd June from Graduate Ent to Tier1 Ent. I got my own fund and my sister gave some fund as she is working as Post doc which i have joint account with her personal account. the money is in Business bank account 50 k which is untouched for past more than 1 year. I am not allowed to work and do Business as i am on Immigration Bail so i am really stressed as i am wasting all my time doing nothing and i have lots of debt also.

Sorry to hear about the situation. But there is very little you can do other than already discussed.

Of course, nothing stops you from continuing your business - you just can't be on the payroll. You can use the money in your business - you don't have to leave it untouched.

You can work for your business, you can employ people, etc as a Director of the business. You just can't be on the payroll.

You can try getting a solicitor to send a PAP. There was at least one case here where someone did that and got a decision soon after - but it is very difficult to say if that was the reason. Unfortunately, you don't really have any legal grounds and I am sure HO knows that well. But you may have some humanitarian grounds.
