Complicated Student visa Question let see who can Guide

Hi my visa extension was refused applied on 30 march 2009 and refused on Dec 10 2009 due to lack of progress.
I was given appeal and i lost and i also lost 2nd appeal ( admin review)

i was refused on admin review 2nd appeal on April 30 2010

I returned to Pakistan on 27 may 2010 . I was stopped on airport and they asked me why did u left so late i told them i applied for appeal and thats the reason. They didn't do anything and said dont worry you will be alright.

MY QUESTIONS

1 I left on my own do i need to inform Home office now ?I didn't overstayed it was just because i applied for appeals . its almost 3 months since i left UK . Will they update there system automatically?
I hope i wont be ban because i didn't overstayed .
And if i need to check this how should i contact Home office

2 If i reapply for student visa in Jan 2011 will there be any problem with my visa due to lack of progress i have shown in my previous student visa .

1. You don't need to inform UKBA about your departure / exit date.
2. When you apply for EC again (under any category) clearly mention, with details, about the refusal and appeal(s). Make sure you include the specific dates (e.g. - refusal, hearing, departure) and attach documentary evidence(s) to support those claims.
