Complicated Visa Case

Hello,

I don't really know if this is the right place to post it, but I really need some advise on something.
Me and my soon to be wife(we are getting married in Europe in June) want to settle in the UK.

I myself am a European citizen and have the right to remain and work in the UK. I am currently already employed and working in Scotland. As for my fiance, she is from outside Europe completely. Now from my understanding she needs to apply for a EAA family permit to remain with me inside the UK. She already can get a UK visa, as she recently got accepted to a university here in the UK.

The thing however is that obtaining a Family permit in her country is near to impossible as she is from a Arabian country. My question I have is, is it possible to apply for the family permit after we get married in Europe? If not, is there any other way to obtain a visa that allows her to stay with me in the UK.

As it is possible for her to remain with me in Europe, I really want her to complete her studies as she has been focused on it for quite a long time.

An EEA family member may apply for an EEA Family Permit at any British consulate or embassy overseas that offers visa services; it does not need to be the one in the person's country of origin -- so you're free to apply in the country in which you're getting married if that works better for you. This only really even matters if she's a visa national or if she does not have some other visa to enter the UK, since the only real purpose of the FP is the make sure an airline will let her on the plane if she's a nationality that normally requires a visa for the UK.

Once she's in the UK, she just applies for a residency card using Form EEA 2 as normal. Bottomline though is once you're married she has an inalienable right under EU law to accompany you to the UK, period.
