Confirmation of application

Post by geomort » Thu Jan 10, 2019 1:17 am

Hello everyone,

A simple question that I cannot find the answer to anywhere.

I was wondering, with the new UKVCAS service points, once you have successfully uploaded everyone, done your biometrics and are ready to go, what piece of documentation, protocol or any type of proof do they give you that you have successfully applied for a visa?

Previously, with the postal service I understand that you had to wait for a letter from the Home Office. Can I assume that this will now be provided immediately? If not, if my wife's visa expires before a confirmation of application document arrives, can she still prove her right to stay in the UK whilst her application is being processed?

All the best to you all,
Haydon.
