confirmation from home office

Post by hmm » Thu Jul 16, 2009 2:59 pm

My other half has ILR in the UK and has been living here over 3 years, NOT apply for naturalisation or planing to get British passport. Current passport expiring soon and needs to renew, for that we need to get a letter from home office to confirm that he hasn't applied for UK citizenship.

Has any one applied for it recently or has any idea of how long it'd take to the Home office to reply?

thanks
