Hi guys,
I'm new on the boards and have a question I'm hoping some of you friendly people can help me with.
My girlfriend currently has a post-study work visa and will be applying for the FLR(M) visa in a couple of months as we have lived together in a relationship akin to marriage for over 2 years.
Regarding the documents for this that prove we have lived together for over 2 years and spanning that period we have:
2 x HSBC statements from our joint bank account jointly addressed to us
2 x United Utilities water bills jointly addressed to us
2 x Scottish Power statements NOT jointly addressed to us but we have 2 letters each with our names on because my girlfriend is on my account. Please see links below.
[Edit by Moderator : It really is not a good idea to post such detail of the internet. Accordingly the two bill images have been deleted.]
As the two Scottish Power statements do not count as being jointly addressed to us we'll need to send some more letters each addressed to us individually as it states in the FLR(M) application form (http://www.bia.homeoffice.gov.uk/siteco ... flrm102009 , Page 16.)
My questions:
-How many documents do we need to send in addition to those above?
-Can these letters be for accounts/from organisations we do not share with each other? For example. can I send a council tax bill and Virgin Media bill and she send a Lloyds TSB banking statement from her individual account and a letter from the NHS sent to her individually.
We only have joint accounts with HSBC, United Utilities and Scottish Power, though as I said the Scottish Power statements are sent separately to us and not jointly addressed to us in a single letter so as far as I can tell they do not count.
I'm a bit confused about this (and slightly nervous) so I'd really appreciate any help you can offer in putting my mind at ease that we have the documents we need. We've been together five years (though not always in the same country of course) and this means a lot to us.
Thanks in advance.
P.S. Sorry if this is in the wrong part of the boards, I don't know what this comes under!
