I came to the UK back in October 2019 on a Tier 2 (General) visa, and later switched to a Skilled Worker visa. Now I’ve finally reached the point where I’m eligible to apply for ILR (Indefinite Leave to Remain).
I’ve gathered all my documents and even started filling out the online application form — but with all the recent news about immigration and visa rule changes, I’m a bit unsure.
Does anyone know if ILR applications are still being processed as usual, or have they put them on hold because of the upcoming changes? I don’t want to submit mine at the wrong time if there’s any temporary pause or backlog.
Would really appreciate it if anyone could share their recent experience or official update. Should I just go ahead and apply, or wait until there’s more clarity?
Thanks in advance!
