Confused and needing help

Post by Cajackson » Tue Apr 22, 2014 1:50 am

Hi everyone;

Apologies beforehand if I'm posting this in the wrong forum. Please be patient with me!

I'm an American student who who'll be studying for a semester in the UK at Bangor University.

I met my partner (who is a British citizen) in August during his exchange year at an American university, and we're getting married in a few weeks.

I want to spend the summer with him in the UK (beginning in early June) and then study from August-January at his university before coming back to the states.

What do I need to do?

How long will you be returning to the States for after your studies?
Where do you plan to live as a couple?

If your husband is working and able to meet the income requirements or has sufficient savings you could just apply for your spouse visa, but obviously that depends on your current situation and future plans.
