I applied for PSW visa back in November. I represented myself at a reconsideration hearing and received a letter saying the appeal was not allowed under immi. rules but allowed under ECHR Article 8 (long residence, degree qualification, british girlfriend of 5 years etc etc...). The home office did not contest the ruling. Does an appeal being approved under Article 8 automaticly grant and individual leave to remain? Does anyone know what happens next? I spoke to a few law firms and AIT and they all said that the HO will send me a letter asking for documents in order to grant me a visa. Is this true? How long does it take? And what type and how long will my visa be? Please help me , anyone with similar experiences?
*for the record in my experience it is always best to rep. yourself if you feel you have a strong enough case!
