Confusion – can entrepreneur hire 10 apprentice to get ILR ?

Confusion – Can entrepreneur (50 k investment) hire 10 apprentice to be eligible for ILR after 3 years ?

Can we hire 10 apprentice with national minimum wage of £2.68 per hour to get eligible for indefinite leave to remain after 3 years.

I have spoken to couple of solicitor none of them seems to be sure. Can’t find anything in guidance. I read that UKBA wants to know how much per hour we have paid to each employee.

Can anyone send me the link where I can find more info on this?

Finding a short cut is not that simple,they just redirect to HMRC for hourly rates

@ shanky, full time workers are completely different from an apprentice. Apprentice dont get all the full working right that a full-time worker get like holiday pay, sick pay, pension e.t.c.

The best way to find out is calling the UKVI directly and if you want to keep your name anonymous just tell its for your friend and they don't seem to bother about your identity anyways. This will give you proper guidance rather than asking Solicitors ( they seem to know nothing about any new changes or procedures that even we know through this forum).
