Consent forms for single applicant

I have a similar situation but slightly different. My wife who has EU Pre-settled status applied for Child Benefit in February 2023 to be paid into her account. They also ask about the father and my NI number.

I am on Tier 2 General Visa w/ no access to public funds. I am applying for ILR in a week, March 2023.

Do I have any risk? Should my wife try to cancel her application for child benefit before they make a decision and start paying her child benefit?

This should have no effect on your ILR

After your reply, I found this online (not in government pages though)

If you have a spouse who has recourse to public funds, but you are restricted from claiming benefits, then they will be able to make a claim for child benefit according to their normal rights. They will not, however, be able to claim benefits on your behalf.

So, even though in the Child Benefit form, Section 2 Partner asks about myself and my NI, I will not be listed/tagged as getting Child Benefit (Public Funds) by HMRC and Home Office will not reject my application.
Is my understanding correct?

Even though you are listed on the application, as NRPF only the qualified partner gets the claim payment and will have no negative impact on you.

Hi,

I have submitted my online application and am now preparing the documents. I am a little worried about consent forms Part 2 and Part 3.

I am married, with kids but they are all on EU settlement scheme. I am applying only for myself. My bank account is only for my name. Our tenancy agreement is for both my wife and my name. I am employed by a company who has given me their sponsor letter.

I am guessing that I need to only sign Part 1 and leave Part 2 and Part 3 empty. Or should I have my wife sign Part 2?

Can someone share their experience and view please?
