Hi there
I am a non-EEA national currently in the UK and have been offered a contract role in Dublin that I have to be able to join within 3 weeks.
I have previously lived in Ireland on the basis of an Employment permit and qualified for naturalisation following my stay over 5 years. My naturalisation application is also currently being processed, with the last update being that the INIS has asked me to inform them of when I intend to return to Ireland. I presume that is so that they can progress to the next stage. I am now in a bit of a strange situation with the contract offer. Ideally I'd like to be able to return to Ireland get naturalised while take up my contract i.e without having to go through a visa/permit process. Would someone know what the best to do here is? An agent at ENTEMP suggested earlier this morning that Employment Permits aren't issued for contract positions and that a business visa might be the right solution.
Any ideas will be much appreciated.
Thanks
