contractor accounting

Hi,

I am on Tier 1 and a contractor. My umbrella company pays NI at the basic rate and the rest of the money is then loaned back to me from a trust. Thereby I retain a higher take home.

Does the ukba have a ILR requirement for contracts such as:
- u have to be paying a certain tax threshold
- can't be offshore pvt ltd contractor
- etc.

Your problem is that for tax purposes you have hardly any income, do you. So how do you expect to get an extension or ILR?

Suggest you consider repaying your loan, and then get paid properly.
