Conversion from tier 4 dependant to tier2 general

Hello All,

Is it possible for a tier 4 dependant to convert to tier2 general in-country. I am currently working in a hotel and my company is registered to issue COS. I am working as a Asst. Food & Beverage Manager and don't see the occupation on the list. My company is ready to sponsor me. Could someone please guide me as to if it is possible to switch to tier2 and what would be the salary requirements for the same..

Yes, if the Tier 4 migrant was given leave to enter / remain for a course of study that is longer than 6 months (319C(i)).

I am having tier4 student dependent visa and working as a contractor here in UK for one of IT company since one week. I am planning to switch from tier4 student dependent's visa to tier 2 work permit visa.Could you please let me know detailed steps to proceed further .I am really need your help asap.Please help me.
