Correction in BRP for dependents

hi Gurus,

We have applied for PBS dependants Extension for my spouse and child and the BRP was received within the stipulated time frame.. However there was a small correction needed in one of the BRPs and hence we have requested for the same to be corrected.
Query:
1) How much time does it usually take for a corrected BRP to be dispatched, it says max 20 working days when we applied; that is really cutting corners for our travel date.
2) We are scheduled to travel in a month's time and is wondering whether we can travel even if the new BRP has not arrived? The correction is needed for the place of birth and the name is curtailed at the very end (for eg: it shows Londo instead of London)

Honestly, nobody can answer the question "how long is it going to take?" and "would the card be back for my holiday?".

Just in 2019, I sent an email to the Home Office for an error in an BRC (EEA route). It took them 4 weeks to respond and the corrected card was in the post 6 weeks later. That's 10 weeks between the first contact and the corrected card. But the person travelled with the incorrect card in the meantime and nobody noticed anything.

You will never find a certain answer like 5 days, 23 days... etc.
