Courier Address

Post by flamenco » Wed Dec 20, 2006 12:21 pm

Hi all, please could anybody explain as to which address should I send my application through courier? Is it the address with P.O. box 3975 or Fountain Precinct Balm Green address? There is a little confusion as some1 told that that all application regardless of the dispatch method used would go to the P.O Box address whereas the guidance notes states that it should be the other address. Please could some1 explain?

Thanks

Hi,

Follow the guidance notes.
For the courier, you need to send it to the Fountain Precinct Balm Green address.....

Dear Mr. Hasan

I can read English and I did see this address in the guidance notes despite the fact that it was not given in a bold font as you wrote. However, I was told otherwise and I didn't want to take any risk. I have every right to dispel my confusion on this issue. Furthermore, to my understanding, this forum is to assist people and clarify any confusion that they might have in their minds regarding the functioning of HSMP scheme. It is not anyone's property, I am sure it doesn't belong to you at all. It might be difficult for you but at least give it a try to act decently.

Thank you

hadihassan is right, I just came accross it now on the page 19 of the guidance note. Its a pity I sent my application two days ago to the PO.Box address using DHL. I guess this will lead to a little delay in the processing time, lets keep our fingers crossed.

Hadihassan,
Do you know of anybody that sent his/her HSMP application to
Work Permits (UK) HSMP
PO.Box 3975
Sheffield
S1 9BL
via a courier service and has gotten a reference (atleast an aknowledgement) from HSMP? I would really like to know because I am a little worried sending the application to this (wrong) address.
Moreover, you are missing my post with that of Flamenco.

Thanks

Hi olumighty
Usually the courier like DHL,FedEx dont accept to deliever anything on P.O Box , as they need the receipt to be signed. Well i dont i know anybody who sent his app through on P.O Box. So u better track ur package with ur courier company. All well know couirer services have they online tracking system , also u should call them and tell ur problem with them. Moreover if they said to deliever then for sure it will be raached back to u .
All the best dude
Regard
Hasan

HadiHassan,
The tracking on DHL shows it has been delivered but did not specify to where it was delivered.Below is part of the track result:

Lagos - Nigeria Leeds - UK Signed for by: trotter
Shipment delivered December 19, 2006 14:50

What do you think?

Hey dude u dont need to worry about it as i had the same status. So just check with Credit Card provider that payments is made and is cleared or not. If it is cleared then u will receive ur reference # shortly. Also u can drop a mail to them @ hsmp.workpermits@ind.homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk ,since one of the guy mailed them @ same address and got the ref # in 2-3 hours.

Cheers
Hasan
