No course details mentioned on the letter from UKBA...

I'm on a Tier 4 Student visa
My visa expired on 30/10/10

I sent my extension application on 23/10/10, Given my biometrics on 01/11/10. Everything went very smoothly and within 13 days (on 05/11/10) I got my passport and other documents returned to me. On the letter they mentioned that " A BRP will be sent to you in separate cover, you should receive it within 7 working days of the date on this letter........................"

Last year when I extended my visa I got the same letter but on that letter they mentioned-

Permission was given for the course detailed below:

Sponsor Name: xxxxxxxxxxxxx
Address: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Course: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

But this year they didn't write anything like this.

One of my friend who got his visa extended last month, his letter mentioned the course and college details....

Why my one is not saying anything about course details....
For what they issuing the BRP (Biometric Residence Permit) for???

Really worried since I'm not getting my ID card....
