criminal offence and civil judgement query

Post by mghe » Wed May 27, 2009 4:49 pm

hello all,

This is a query regarding the criminal offence and civil judgement info in the tier 1 application form. Myself along with a couple of my friends where stopped and searched in London once. But the police didnt find anything offensive so they let us go telling us that its their routine check to keep crime rate down. They did give us a refernce note kind of thing(they said that they give this to everyone for their record of incident or something blah blah...) ....should this be mentioned in the application form for tier 1? sorry if its silly....I was under the impression that its not any offence nor any court ruling was done so ignore that...but my friend is kind of scaring me...pls help.

thanks

it's nothing, you don't need to worry about it.

Your friend is mad!

The reciept is given after stop and search for your record, if you want to complain about it, etc etc...

Even I have got one such receipt from police after being stopped in Canning Town station. It is nothing to worry. I had spoken to the police officer who was doing that check.

Cheers

You should be fine. That is just a routine check.
