Hi, this question has probably been answered so many times, sorry for being a pain. My wife is from Pakistan and she came here in December 2007 and i am looking to apply for her ILR in December of this year. I am currently receiving child benefit on my name. I have applied for CTC and WTC and my claim did not go through because my wife needed natianal insurance number.
I contacted the local jobcentre and Now she has received her national insurance number and my claim would go through if i inform the HMRC and gave them my wife's National Insurance Number. This would be a joint claim, so would claiming CTC and WTC effect my wife's ILR application?
