CTS reference

Post by jimquk » Wed Oct 17, 2007 11:52 pm

Hi

Just had a reply from via the MP from the Home Secretary (or one of her minions) which quoted under the Home Office Reference something called CTS reference, in the form M*****/7. Any ideas what this refers to? M does not obviously relate to the applicant's name.

Just curious really. I googled it, and it appears a few times in replies to MPs, but only from the Home Office. Maybe just a correspondance number?
