Current residential Address different from passport address

Hi

I am about to apply for my tier 2 general visa.

We have moved to a new house recently and the address in my passport is different from my current residential address.

I tried to get suggestions from the VFS but this was the reply from them. "With regards to your query, we would like to inform you that VFS nor its staff do not advise the applicants regarding the documentation."


Should there be a problem if fill in the application with my current address as my residential address though the passport address is different and provide them my bank statement as the current address proof.

Or is it ok to enter the residential address as my old address and set the contact address to the current address.

Please help me on this

Provide the "current" residential address.

Address in the passport is irrelevant if you do not live there anymore or if you do not wish to use that address (in passport) to be used for any correspondence regarding your application.
