Currently in UK with Tier 1 PSW but planning to move to US

Hello all

I am currently working with Tier 1 PSW and it expires in December. I am hearing that it is hard to get a Tier 2 sponsorship. I am thinking of migrating to the US.

Do I have to apply for a US visa on my own or will the company that would employ me do that?

As I am totally unaware of US visa regulations, can you please advise me on what's to be done to move to the US?
