My Dad Has A Company, Could He Sponsor My Girlfriend?

Post by Uddername » Mon Dec 30, 2013 10:22 pm

My Dad has his own business in England, and earns a fairly good wage. Would it be possible for him to sponsor my Ecuadorean girlfriend to work as his secretary, but for her to find other part-time work as well? Or would she need two seperate sponsors?

Thank you for your help. All I want is my girlfriend to be able to live in England for 6 months and have the option to work. Ironically, she's allowed in England for 6 months but she's not allowed to work and give anything back to the economy? Makes sense

Why he can't hire a NON EU who have permission to work / an EU / British Citizen currently living in the UK ?

Short answer is that it would be very difficult to do and almost certaintly not reasonable in such circumstances. Read Tier 2 sponsor policy guidance to see why. Tier 2 General allows taking part-time work though if it's out of main working hours and of the same kind.
