Date application for ILR can be made.

Hi, looking for some help for my uncle, he is applying for his ILR on a spousal Visa, when I did my ILR application on work permit I could apply 28 days before 5 years of the valid date of my Entry Clearance Visa, i seem to remember on the Spousal Visa it was 28 days before 5 years of the date you entered the UK, could someone please confirm. His entry clearance visa is valid dat is 14/09/20 and the stamp on his passport when he landed at Heathrow was 07/10/20, he gets to apply next week and we don’t want to get it wrong so any help will be greatly appreciated.

(07/10/20 + 5 years - 28 days) is the earliest date of ILR eligibility
