Date of Birth Certificate

Hello Friends,
I have just applied spouse visa in Australia in which I have provided most of the documents except date of birth certificate. My partner does not have DOB certificate and it takes long time to get new one from the government authorities. Now my query is, can she provide any affidavit from her parents or relatives to immigration department. Your response will be appreciated.
