Date of documents

Post by harpreetjagdey » Wed Mar 05, 2014 11:39 am

Dear all

I will be applying for my wife's spouse visa on 24th of March. I meet the financial requirement as per Appendix FM.
I normally get paid on 25th of each month and it is shown on bank statements generated on day 03rd of each month.

As required by Appendix, the document should not be dated earlier than 28 days from the date of application. That is ok in the case of bank statement date.

But as pay slip was generated on 25th feb, and application date is 24th march, would it present a valid document for them to consider?

As it is an electronic payslip, I can get it signed and stamped by HR before I fly on 17th to India. Would it be ok?

Regards
Harpreet

Cutting it fine so you need to ensure the application is paid for by March 24th.

Many thanks for the reply.

Is it necessary to have religious marriage for visa? We are getting married in court only.

If the marriage is legally complete in the eyes of your country (and not illegal in the eyes of the UK - see some proxy marriage circumstances) then you can apply.
