I was granted IL in 1971, after marrying a British citizen. Although we divorced in 1977, I have lived here continuously, worked legally, paid taxes and NI, have been a model citizen - never in trouble, volunteer for various groups, etc. I am self-employed AND get at UK state pension. I have good referees, proof of residency etc etc. I have now decided to apply for citizenship - but

1. can't remember the month or day I was granted IL, only the year. It was after our marriage in June, but that's all I know.

2. have been out of the country a few times in past five years, mostly on business and mostly overnight - but can't read all the stamps in my passport as some are blurred and some are on top of others, which makes two that become illegible.

What do I do to ensure the correct information is included in the application?
