28 Day entry Rule Gone?

Hi,

Does anyone know if the 28 day rule to enter the UK once issued with a ukvisa is now expired and replaced with 180 day rule to enter the UK? I called the home office and that's what they said.

Vinny is usually good at finding these immigration laws.

For a spouse visa, you have three months to enter the uk.

spousal visa is granted for 27 months,so to gain ILR you would need to
show that your main residence has been in the uk for 24 months,so therefore you have 3 months to rtn to the uk once your spousal visa has been issued,but i would advise rtn asap after visa issued.
