Days absent (Combined business & personal trip)

I would like to understand if i went on a personal trip to France for 10 days but worked in my company's France office there for 4 days - do I need to classify it entirely as a personal trip or can those 4 days count as a business trip (if supported by a employer letter)?

You will need an employer letter for the days you were on business.
