DBS after naturalisation approval letter.

Hi guys,

Do home office run DBS check again on the applicants after their naturalisation application is approved? I have read on this forum from some applicants stating that they received DBS certificate requested by home office after their approval email just before they sent the ceremony invitation letter. Can someone please shed a light on this?

Some members reported the same. However, this is not something common. Guess will have to wait and see.

I am hearing this for the first time. I think they do DBS checks on selected cases.

Yeah a few members reported about DBS check after the approval. As you assumed, I guess it must be on selected cases

I submitted my naturalisation application early April and just received a DBS certificate today. My application has yet to be approved.

I applied on 4th May and biometrics given on 16th May.

What do you mean by DBS certificate? Will I receive one as well? If yes what do we do with it? Thank you for your answer.
