DECISION AFTER NFA WITH SUPER PRIORITY

Post by Warisi » Mon Feb 28, 2022 1:26 pm

Good day everyone, i am new on here and i have been reading a lot here on different cases and i see how people having been giving wonderful advise and helping others.

Please i have an issue that i need help with for clarity and i will try to be very brief, i applied for leave to remain, being that i have a British child.

I had a police issue with someone who was owing me some money and the person called police on me, i was taken to the station and then release, few months later, i got a letter from the solicitor that there was no case there anymore and it was all ended. all this happened from March 2021 to September 2021 when i received the letter from my solicitor.

I submitted my application in Jan 8 2022, i did my biometrics in Jan 13 2022, using super priority, i got a decision which said, i had a pending persecution and so, no decision will be taken on your application until this matter has been concluded.

I was shocked, i called the police in charge of my case as that was the only time i have been arrested, so he checked for my case and found out that they did not close the case officially and then he wrote to home office to explain the situation to them and then told me he will get his supervisor to sign it off for NFA, fast forward, i got NFA letter on the 20th of January 2022 and sent it to Home office via mail through my solicitor, we have been waiting for reply since it's super priority but no answer, my solicitor had to write a concrete letter to Home office on the 21th of February 2022 and they responded next day saying they have received the letter which also included the NFA and it has been scanned

Please i want to know how long i have to wait until i get my decision, since i paid for super priority, thank you.

Your application via super priority was attended to already hence why CW saw the prosecution matter and informed you of its effect on your application. At that point your application ceases to be on super priority.
Wait till you hear from UKVI.

Thank you so much for your kind response, i do appreciate this, i just want to know if i will be waiting for the normal standard time now which i presume is around 8 to 12 weeks, or do i have to wait longer? as i was informed that super priority applications will be put if front of queue at every stage of decision, i am just curious and the thought of waiting is horrendous, thanks for your help once again.
