Defacto waiting for divorce

Post by liger » Tue Oct 22, 2019 9:44 pm

Hi,

Married years ago and have been separated for 3.5 years. With new partner for last 2.5. Does anyone know if GNIB would entertain a defacto application while waiting to divorce ex and marry new partner. I'm Irish.

She doesn't need the de facto as she is here studying a degree and is on stamp 2 making her be eligible for stamp G when she finishes the course but thinking for the future and valid time towards citizenship the stamp 4 would be better.

Any info would be appreciated.
