Is my degree equivalent to UK Standards

I have done BSC (HONS) of 4 years from Punjab University College Of Information Technology just wondering if my degree is equivalent to UK Standards and if i apply for Work Permit it would be accepted ??

Hi Shani,

The answer to your query is Yes it is acceptable as mine is also from PU and mine was just regular B.Com (not honours). If you are still unsure then you can also get it compared from NARIC before you apply for your HSMP initial application. Also its a good idea to check the NARIC database available.

Its better to avoid NARIC if you got your Degree (Bachelor's or Masters from INDIA) as all the degree issued from UGC recognised universities are equivalent to UK standard. NARIC evaluation is done by the HSMP team.

So the best advice is to save money and avoid NARIC.
